If you are building a site in a language other than English, the Site Language feature allows you to translate certain elements into your target language. Simply select your target language and the built-in text on several widgets will be translated into your target language automatically. The widget text has been pre-translated and cannot be customized.
This feature should not be mistaken for the Multi-Language feature, which translates all text on the site using Google Translate. When Multi-Language is enabled, the default site language is set automatically, the Site Language tab will be inactive, and changes to the default language must be set via the Multi-Language feature.
To configure your site language:
In the left panel, click Settings, and then click Site Language.
